0Anesthetic4u
Hi. I had to delete my old install of Fo4 because it absolutely 100% refused to update to the current Patch Version and F4SE wouldn't work with it as a result. Now I need to install all my old mods from NMM into Vortex, BUT vortex refuses to work with my NMM so I need to Download all my old mods. But I don't know what they all were? When I go to load my old files I get a Short list of Mods I'm missing, but I can only see 11 mods I'm missing. Whats worse, is some of the mods aren't clear as to what they are, and some others won't get fixed due to what I assume is updated versions of the mod. As a result, I've fixed all the mods I can see, but I'm barely in the Cs out of A to Z. #1 Is there a place I can find a Complete list of Mods I'm missing? #2 Also is there a way to find out what the name of the mod some of the miscellaneous ESPs comes from? #3 and Lastly is there a way to install my old mods from the Backup of Fo4 I made? I tried, but a TON of mods don't want to work as it seems the portion of the file that lets you install it the first time has vanished. I would be grateful to anyone who has an answer to any one of my questions.
Wolfmark
1. When you installed NMM you had to select the folder where the mods will be downloaded. You can find there the original files downloaded from Nexus. If you don't have that folder anymore: 2. See c:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Fallout4 folder. Look for a file named plugins.txt.3. Load a save file and ignore the warning that some (or all) mods are missing. Then quit the game. Go to Documents\My Games\Fallout4\F4SE and look into f4se.log file for the list of mods that were active when the save file was created.4. Also you can see the mods list in the *.f4se files (created for each save file) if you open them with a text editor. Probably same is true for *.fos files... Using these methods you'll only find the ESP / ESL mods.
Deleted49413338User
From what I have heard, WyreBash has a feature that can re-create a load order of mods you were using by using nothing other than a save file. I have no idea on this its just what Ive heard. If you ever need to uninstall FO4 again, find the location of the mods and save them as a back up.Also, I have a vauge memory of coming across a huge bunch of RAR files that NMM had saved somewhere, It wont be load order though, but it should contain all the mods you have downloaded. Its probably in Users/Appdata/Local/NMM or something. Edit* answer was posted above while I was looking online for correct location. haha. Though I don't seem to have that Plugins.txt in my FO4 folder, the F4se.log also had next to nothing in it.
