Slayer2600
Salutations. Usually, I don't much ask for help when my mods are screwing my game over, I am stubborn and insist on doing it myself, but my patience is nearing it's end. I start up Skyrim and it is all good until I get to certain points in the wilderness or loot certain bodies. I think it may be my mods, as I have disabled everything except the update and it seemed to be fine (though I could be wrong). I use NMM for all my mods and BOSS to keep them in order but still - CRASH! I thought the answer may lie in wrye bash, but I don't have much of a clue how to use it, and the only thing I got from it was the merging of two trivial plugins. I shall include a screenshot of my mods / load order. The only two merged mods into the bashed patch are the reduced dragonbone weight and the convertable azuras star. If someone could give me some pointers, I would very very much appreciate it. My hypothesis is an incompatability of some sort, maybe some code trying itself in a knot or whatever but I'm not the best with this sort of stuff. If I cannot rectify the issue I will probably clear all my mods out and start from scratch; I think a couple need updating. I will also learn how to make better use of WB; the key may be in preemptively correcting things, not post installation foolery. Help would be very much appreciated. Thank you. Xilante
Your best bet is to do it yourself.Considering you don't have many mods it's faster by checking yourself than waiting someone to reply to your thread! What you can do is uncheck half of those mods and check if the problem is still there, if it isn't, it means the mod causing the incompatibility is part of that half you disactivated then with a little of patience, just activate them one per one until you slowly figure out the mod(s?) causing the problem.Of course if after deactivating half of those mods the problem is still there, it means the mod(s?) causing the problem is part of the mods activated, just do the same in that case. Thank you I was about to do that, that is what I usually do, I've just been feeling lazy today. I was playing around a bit with it, and I found that deactivating some mods delayed the time it took to crash so im not quite sure...few mods rather than two in conflict perhaps? I will disable all my smaller mods, try it, and reverse to see if the bad egg(s) is/are one of my small mods or the bigger ones. Thank you! Sonreac
Check to see if the mods you are using are compatible with SkyRe.
