majekillusion
I have been tinkering around with Skyrim SE character creation for the past week and have created numerous saves. Until yesterday, my saves were showing up just fine after launching SKSE64 through Vortex. Today, however, when I launch through Vortex using SKSE64 I can no longer access my saved games and am forced to create a new game. The weird part is the saves are showing up in Vortex under the saved games tab but not in the game. Lastly, I only have two profiles created in Vortex and did confirm I had the correct profile selected. How do I get my saved games to show up again? AugustaCalidia
If you select a profile, then use the SKSE64 launcher outside of Vortex to launch your game, do the profile saves show up in the game menu?
rmm200
On current build - save games are - problematic.Running Skyrim, for example, will store the saves in Generic, so they are not lost, but they are supposed to be in the profile specific saves. If you use Import Save to fish them back out of Generic, they show up - until you leave the Saves page.Go to Mods, Deploy, go back to the Saves page - and Poof - the saves are gone again.Fortunately, even though no Saves appear on the Saves page, the game can usually find them. If not - just import them from Generic again. That always works.
majekillusion
I figured it out.. I deleted all of my save games in the main Skyrim saves folder earlier trying to clean and organize things. I fixed the problem by moving all of the saved stored in the Vortex saves folder back into the main saves folder and everything is workingfine. The error was simply self induced stupidity on my part :geek: Thanks!
