Can't load, but can start new game.

Hi there.

I was recently playing with ugridstoload from the console. I did not save under modified ugrids, I didn't save or refresh the ini. I checked the ini to make sure there was no ugridstoload there. I deleted the whole skyrim folder in my documents (saving my savegames from being deleted). I even reinstalled the game.

What happens is that my savegames won't load. the loadscreen appears.... and it goes on forever. However, I can start a new game no problem.

Any help?

Oh! and my logo and loadscreen are reddish now.

Through taskmanager I've noted that it stops loading at around 2,4GB, but I have 8GB of RAM...

Could be mod-related; I unchecked all the mods and it worked just fine.

Seems like an issue with a bad reference in your savegame. Since it will load with no mods active, you could try this;

- deactivate all mods and load your last save

- save the game and quit

- reactivate all your mods and run BOSS (i only suggest activating them all at once because they work together on a new game) important note - if you use the unofficial patch, activate it first

- try to load the save you just made

From what you describe, this should work. Downsides being that you will have to redo any mod-added content, and the rest of your saves will still be borked, but it beats starting over.

I already solved this issue myself :)

But now I have another problem that I stated in another thread. Thanks for your advice, however :)
