cuhhris
I want to start over in Skyrim. Remove all the Mods that I have, but I don't know how to go about it. If I reinstall Skyrim won't there be issues with Nexus Mod Manager?Should I uninstall each mod individually from NMM? But what about the ones I manually installed? Pretty much I want to know the fastest, safest process to restarting my Skyrim from scratch just with Vanilla and the most recent patch. Thanks in advanced. TheKussh
Hey, you really don't need to reinstall Skyrim if you have the CD version. If you insert the CD and run the setup the exe will give tree options, modify , repair and uninstall.Modify if for you to install only the features you want.Repair will automatically replace all the edited files with the originals. (If you have a patch it will be erased, so make a backup if you don't have the patch installer, I guess for the steam version)and uninstall is obvious.I don't relally know how to help you with the manually installed mod because i didn't get what you told us about it. sorry. Sonreac
Oi....for those mods that you manually installed...I hope you still have the original download file. You'll have to delete the ones that are in the download file from skyrim/data/blah blah blah...or however that mod told you to put their files. With Nexus, unless you told it to put the mod files and install files...Then it goes in this directory: C\Games\Nexus Mod Manager\Skyrim\Install Info and C\Games\Nexus Mod Manager\Skyrim\Mods You can un-install nexus and delete those two folders. Unless there is another spot that they store mod info, that should get rid of the ones that you have downloaded. However, if you plan on using the same mods in the future.... Copy and paste into a new folder! That is if you had NMM install your mods for you. Now, if you have Steam. Do a "delete local files" when you right-click on the game that you want to delete while in the steam launcher. When you finish installing/downloading it again. Before you do anything else...right click on skyrim while in the steam launcher. left click on properties....go to local files...and backup game files. That way you will not have to download it again in the future. Just restore it.
KingFrostman
You could delete everything or suspected things in your data folder, then do a "Verify integrity of game cache" in steam to restore any vanilla things you deleted.
