LordFlashheart
As title Basically when I have a follower with me, I can tell them to follow me to begin with, but when I go to tell them I want to look in their inventory they say their line (e.g "I'm sworn to carry your burdens" etc) and then nothing happens... Same thing happens too with dismissing the follower, and telling them to do stuff. Now I'm not sure why this is happening, and the only follower mods I had installed were Better followers, and horses for followers. But one thing I think it could be is to do with Skyrim's saving system of attributing all the scripts you've got running on a save to the file, so when you delete mods off and save again, the scripts are still present. That's just my thoughts, but I'd greatly appreciate any help you can give :) Thanks.
JanusForbeare
I haven't used Better Followers, but... -Open up Skyrim.esm and BetterFoilowers.esp (as the active file) in the CK. -In the "Quest" category at left, find DialogueFollower. Open it. -Click on "Dialogue Views" - the window should change, and there should only be one item listed in it. Click on that item. -The dialogue window will open up. Double-click on the white boxes underneath the topics "I need to share some things with you." and "It's time we part ways." (there is one for every potential follower voice type - choose a line that's said by a follower you use). A new window will open up. -At the bottom of that new window, you should see two white boxes for Papyrus Fragments. The one on the left activates when the actor begins saying his line, and the one on the right activates when he finishes. For both of the topics I mentioned, there should be a line of script or so in the box on the right. The inventory one should say something like "akspeaker.openinventory", while the dismissal topic should say something like GetOwningQuest.FollowerDismiss (I'm paraphrasing here). If you copy and paste the contents of the "End" Papyrus Fragment boxes into this thread, we can take a look and see if there's something wrong with the syntax. Based on your description of the problem, that sounds likely.
