Deleted54170User
I have several characters appear that seemed more curious about my character. One of the onlookers, who appeared alone, stood right in the line of fire opposite a vampire bug and watched as I fought off the other two of the three nasty vampire bugs. I was being attacked by the bug until the person watching suddenly realized they were standing where, if I missed the bug, they were going to be hit. The character shot at it just in time to prove they weren't struck dumb seeing a character backed into a corner being attacked by GIANT MOSQUITO's. The game isn't intended for faint of heart players to watch and learn how others may die. It's a survival game. And if the characters I saw had helped, I would have made a mental note they were deemed worthy of my assistance if I found them in a likely situation some day TOO. Unless they are scientists studying the effects of a character, alone, being mauled, maimed, and possibly killed, by one of the many nasty wildlife, I figure they are just still wet behind the ears and don't see the ongoing battle as a possible real life like threat, enough so, to help. A character I had some help from chubb350 seemed very excited about the fact of stepping in and aiding me when I was burdened by a load and being surrounded by feral ghouls. I appreciate that kind of help. I am not going to drop everything I have to sell the vendor and immediately follow anyone who plays the savior though. I know, like in reality I will eventually repay kind with kind.

Deleted54170User
Yes If I had missed the bug it would have set off the persons rights to fight back. I hit the big bug the male figure was opposite me from though. The person saw it and shot it too. As soon as it was down I returned to a Glowing one of them vampires. While I fought it the character who had been there disappeared. I'm trying my best to figure out a way to drop stuff quickly so I can dodge appropriately. What got me in trouble with the bugs in the first place is only 1 lb or weight making me use more of my AP slowing me down when my AP ran out. I had been overweight (in the game  ) for quite a while until I noticed when I was making some Mutfruit Juice that I was carrying 180 Mutfruit which if the game is the same as FO4 equates to 0.5 pounds per plant or a total of 90 pounds. For some bizarre reason the Mutfruit don''t show in your Inventory so they can''t be dropped. Eventually I gritted my teeth and set out to make all of it into Mutfruit Juice which took about an hour or more, lots of wood and lots of water. Then I dumped it all in the woods near my camp. Deleted54170User
I'm going to look for the adjusted scale for everything to their normal weight in FO 4 and see if it is a Mod or a Data xml. All I found was weight level changes which make it so in FO 4 we can lug around 1000 more, 2000, 9999.9. I am looking for the mod that gave each item an adjustment to their actual weight. I know there was one for FO 4. The ones I found are all esp's and won't work with FO 76.

I guess you know that if you wrap all your scrap in plastic you can turn it into Bulk items and sell it to the vendors. Someone on Youtube tested the idea that if you did this you could save weight in your Stash but he found that in fact it didn't make any difference. Usually when I say claim a workshop I scrap all my junk and unnecessary weapons and create a Stash box which I put the useful junk into then I drop the surplus junk beside the workshop. Also I sell chems to the vendors since I had like 46 Radaway which silly as it all has weight. Gunpowder is mostly no use to me so I also drop it. Deleted54170User
Yes. Darn! I'm thinking of a seat belt in a car. The quick release button. Put a pack in game with a buckle like that. Then our character only has to use the quick release on a pack strap, for the stuff we pick up, to drop it. Mostly the stuff we end up weighed down by is for crafting: building materials, cooking ingredients, and such. For now though! I am going to go dig up my hard copy of Oblivion and see if I can install it on Windows 10 to play.
