CTD when looting Arvel The Swift?

When I try to move my cursor in the menu for Arvel my game CTD. I skipped looting his body a few times to test stuff and I am able to loot everything else in the dungeon. Maybe im unable to loot quest NPCs due to a mod? I've ran LOOT and everything and have 2 wild edits but they've always been there and I don't know how to fix them. Installed a few mods tonight but you know how it is im not sure which mod is causing this and I don't remember every mod I installed just now. My load order..

I'll try to help here. First of all, do you use a mod manager to install your mods? If not, then you should, because usually a good mod manager will show you if there's something wrong in your load order. And your load order does have several things wrong, which i'm going to point out next. I personally use Mod Organizer 2 as my mod manager. It can show us any conflicting files between mods and if there's a missing master file or any other stuff.

 

There are several problems with your load order. But still i'm unable to point out all of them because you only post your plugin list (list of esp) and not mod list; and also i can't guarantee that my knowledge will be able to cover all of the problems in your load order. I'll just mention some of the obvious ones.

 

 

1. Look at this:

dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - High.esp

dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Medium.esp

dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.esp

dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Reduced.esp

You have all of these 4 plugins activated. You know, you only need to use one of them. Usually the one with the lowest in the load order will win the conflict, so it will be dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Reduced.esp which will be used. But still, you should deactivate 3 of them which you don't want to use.

2. This part:

You have 2 Immersive Citizens plugins active at the same time. This is totally wrong, because you must only use one of them. Not both. So use either the lite version or the full version, and deactivate or uninstall the one you don't want to use.

You're using both Revenge of the Enemies (Rebirth Monster.esp) and Know Your Enemy (KYE), but i don't see a patch for Know Your Enemy. Do you really know how to use KYE? You need to patch it first using zEdit so that it works along with your load order. And i don't see the resulting patch here. This is probably unrelated with the issue you're encountering, but once again i'm just trying to point out what i'm thinking wrong with your load order.

 

 

4. Plugins with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in your load order

I don't know what plugins are these because they won't show the correct name, so you should really specify that are these.

 

 

5. I can't see FNIS Patch in your load order

Have you actually run FNIS generator? You should if you haven't.

 

 

 

 

Now, i have a feeling that these are probably not all of the installed mods you're using, so the issue can root in some of other mods in your load order. It can also root from a mod which makes edit to Arvel himself, if you have any in your load order. It's worth checking them all in TES5Edit to see any conflicts or specifically if there's any plugin which modifies Arvel.

 

Last thing, have you also employed some optimization methods in your game? Such as CrashFixes, ENBoost, SKSE memory patch. If you haven't, then try to use it, because i ever experienced CTD from looting bodies due to using skin texture mods which have too big texture sizes. Try to look for what skin texture mods, and make sure they're not higher than 2K if you have a mid-end PC or lower.
