So why are none of the mods working?

Okay so, I download mods with Vortex. I install said mods. I activate said mods. I start up the game. Game runs fine, no mods in sight. What exactly is the deal?

 

I've tried this with multiple games. I have no idea what is wrong. Why is Vortex telling me that it's installing and activating the mods but then... not?

Are saying that the game runs and mods are active, even though you can't see them listed anywhere? Or are you saying that the game runs, but absolutely no mods are active, even though you have gone through the mod install process?

After deployment, are the files actually put into your data folder?

 

How are you verifying that the mods are active or not?

 

So what exactly are you saying when you say "They are not there" ?

After downloading, I click on install, then deploy. On the 'mods' panel, each one of my mods says "enabled" with the green check mark.

Something weird did just happen, though. I'm trying to install mods to Dragon Age: Origins. I just downloaded and installed the "More Hairstyles" mod and it worked. However, the rest of the mods do not show up when I click "play."
