Duthos1
When I go to my enchanting altar I can create magical weapons as I think you should, choosing different magnitudes, and durations and mixing several abilities if you have enough magic left. However, when I select armor, jewelry or clothing and select an ability the box is blank (I cannot change magnitude or anything else) and it puts what appears to be the max amount on that item. No matter what ability I chose I could never add a second ability. Even after changing to a larger soul gem. It has been a long time since I played oblivion, and this is the first time I have tried enchanting since I started again, so I guess it might be that way originally, but I doubt it. I am running FCOM, midas and mighty magic, none of my other mods have anything to do with magic. I searched the forums but could not find anyone else having the same problem. Any ideas folks? Any ideas folks?Unfortunately that is how ingame enchanting on those things works. The magnitude is determined (slightly) by the size of the soul used, and you can only have 1 effect. But hey, it's always constant now. For anything beyond that you need either a mod which revamps the enchantment system with OBSE, or just make the item in the CS and place it somewhere for your character. Duthos1
What? That is actually how it SUPPOSED to be? Weak. Could you recommend a good enchanting mod? All the ones I saw looked unpolished, silly or just wierd. I am running fcom with mighty magic, archery and damage&durability. It would be nice to have enchantments on the same scale as the rest of my game. Thanks for your explanation, and another if you have a suggestion.
