Read up on how to move the Entire Steam Game Folder when you have Multiple Drives, so it can be done, mods & all, then discover that Mod managers that mod Data Folder don't support moving Data Folder (Entire Steam Game Folder)

So do it, you won't break anything, but it will set in Stone from that moment on wards, unable to install or to uninstall any mods correctly. And installing a mod, if you must? Will probably just breaking things.

Moral of the story, you can have your cake, but you can't eat it.

Quote, Good Modding Habits: Once you start playing, don't install or uninstall any mods.

Conclusion: Here is no problem in doing this.

How to: Instruction on move Steam Game Folder are to found on Steam web site. Good Luck.

Disclaimer: if you gotta ask? you probably shouldn't. ALSO> I am not responsible for anything that happens! You are.

Pardon me but I don't think I fully get what you are trying to write so let me try and see if I am correct.

You are saying that I may indeed move my installation directory via Steam ( and it's true, it's pretty easy to do such a thing ) but that while this won't , in fact , break anything I will be unable to use NMM correctly from that point onwards because said mod manager does not support this kind of actions ? Sounds fair enough....however I was looking for a solution which might have saved both parts.

If this truly is not possible then I guess I will simply just uninstall and re-install all of my stuff again and maybe with a more up to date mod manager ( for as much as I'd hate it, 190 gb worth of mods mean I'd have to invest a lot of time and effort into reinstalling , solving conflicts and fixing stuff once more ).
