hardarg
I can't find my module in the database after reinstalling the toolset. The good news is I still have all the resources needed and I can easily recreate them. The bad news is I lost the ability to edit them especially cutscenes I had made previously before reinstalling the toolset, which is the most important part of the mod. I have to make new ones and they are alot, which is the tedious part. I've tried opening the .cut and .cub files but it doesn't give me what I want. :( Is it possible to import an exported cutscene resource in to my new module? I wouldn't mind starting from scratch, but if there's any way to restore those files or if at all possible restoring my previous module that would really help alot. LadyHonor
Do you have a recent builder to builder file? If so, you can load it and restore the module. If not, then I don't know of any way of recovering it. Someone with a little more expertise with databases may know of a way, but I don't believe it's possible without either a back up of your database or a b2b. YaraC
LadyHonor is right. Without a backup of the database or a b2b file of your module there is nothing you can do about it.Only if you would have restored a database backup and would have problems accessing checked-out resources would there be a solution. If you would have a backup in form of a builder-to-builder file the resources could be imported into a new module with the option 'Create new String IDs'. hardarg
Thanks YaraC and LadyHonor for the reply. Unfortunately, it didn't occur to me to make a B2B. The toolset had a problem trying to restore my database after reinstall so I had to revert to the default one. :( Guess that'll teach me to make backups in the form of B2B in the future. Thanks again.
maaaaaaaaap
Actually, I have a B2B backup, but it just restored the content/files - not the module itself. So I had to restore the toolset instance I wanted to recover from. :-P Edited June 24, 2021 by maaaaaaaaap
