Gravatrax
Ahh thanks good to know. I figured my 8gb was plenty, I multitask a lot so for desktop use it's notably useful as well. That NZIT (spell check) seems to be getting solid reviews so perhaps I will go with that after all. I have a pretty decent chair as it is but I'll keep that in mind. I do use some leather office chair, maybe not the solidest quality but its better than using that wooden stool I use to use. As i mentioned before I like the CM Storm Striker FMOD mentioned earlier. Any thoughts on the Logitech G500? I plan on getting a new desk when we move, Im guessing I want something that the PC is open to the air surrounding it ? Can someone give me a good concise guide to OCing? GPU, RAM, CPU
hoofhearted4
That NZIT (spell check)NZXT thoughts on the Logitech G500?Have it. Love it. its comfortable in my hand. has some really nice like rubber type grip on it. has a couple of buttons on the side, which is all i really need. tracks good. on the fly adjustable DPI settings. i mean your standard mouse. it doesnt have any features any other gaming mouse doesnt. but it isnt loaded with buttons, just the forward and back ones, which is all i personally need/like. and it is comfortable as i said, esp with the rubber type grip on it. and for a mouse its at a sweet spot in price. $60. which is less then many other gaming mice. Gravatrax
I love my G500. Favorite feature is definitely adjustable DPI. I am still tweaking it but I find it particularly useful for BF3 where different situations warrant different sensitivities. It's not loaded with buttons which isn't a big deal I don't guess, I don't play mmo or anything like that. I use the 3 side buttons as follow; Up is Grenda, Down is Knife, Middle is Spot/Command . I might swap weapon scrolling for up/down on mouse, and maybe put knife as Scroll Wheel Left. Not as useful in skyrim but I do use different settings based on whether im doing melee/magic and bow. haven't found uses for the extra buttons yet but I just haven't really blade skyrim since I've gotten it.
