Hi I don´t know if this is issue of my but it seems that my Vampire dunmer can´t get recognized as dunmer when i travel to windhelm

where nords don´t like dunmer. It´s pretty annoying and the unofficial 1.0 is broken by the newest patch 1.6. I also tried the beta 1.5c patch but no change. The dunmer lady keep saying "do you hate the dark elf" when i am a dark elf

I have been searching for this topic in other places and it seems when you are a vampire it causes this. i don´t know if it the same for Werewolfs but you can never know.I also heard that some Orc don´t get recognized in orc strongholds.

Is there anyone else that have the same issue not just dunmer but other race as well?

The funny thing is, it has nothing to do with being a Vampire. The Dragonborn is not recognized in a lot of racial limitations. If you were an Argonian, you'd still be allowed free access to Windhelm, and even to buy a home to live there. A Redguard DB has the same privelidges in Whiterun, for instance. Concidering your race, and affliction, go talk to Goldir for teh Lulz. Trust me, there's a hilarious line in there.

It's just some sloppy quest design on Beth's part. Every playable race has a vampire race counterpart; ie. in the CK, you'll find both "DarkElfRace" and "DarkElfVampireRace". Suvaris Atheron's dialogue about the Dunmer checks the player's race before playing, and if the player is anything but "DarkElfRace", she asks the player's opinion. It would have taken literally two seconds to add "DarkElfVampireRace" to that list, but it was obviously forgotten in the clusterf*** to meet 11/11/11, like so many other fine details.
