Streamline 3.1

I just installed this upgrade from 3.0. My major complaint is that when I look down a tunnel it is greyed out just a short distance down (A major problem for an archer). I have tried disable FPS smoothing and streamview, and both, as well as putting the fog settings in the ini to oblivion default, but I still get the same behavior. Oh, and I also installed the 3.1 patch. Any ideas?

Edit - After further testing, and research, It is not just tunnels, but my line of sight is cut extremely short everywhere. I changed the land fog in the ini, made sure extremeclipping was disabled, diasabled all features of streamline and made sure all the settings in oblivion ini appeared proper, and none of it has any effect. It works fine until I zoom in with my bow, then the clipping starts and doesn't go away until I exit the game.

For now I am going back to 3.0, which doesn't give me this issue, but I would like to run 3.1, so if anyone would care to oofer a few tips I would be grateful.

I am not running streamline at all anymore because it made my game very unstable but I just noticed the same phenomena in my game in a couple of the rooms in castle kavatch during the "retake castle kavatch" mission. At this time I don't know what could be causing it, I have messed around with my GFX card hardware settings ALOT and have got some very stable settings in place right now so I'm not sure what could be causing this. Besides that one building which has tons of fire effects going on I have never seen this problem before in my game.

A visual description of the issue in my game is that all walls, floor, ceiling, lights, special effects, and most static object turn grey, a few objects remain visibly and spatially normal and appear to be unaffected in any way. I'll provide screen shots if anyone would like.

:thanks:

I gave up on Streamline a while ago cos it was just.. crap to be honest. No view distance, i could have done that myself.

But iv tried it again recently and it is really gd, my pc can handle the game well (in certain situations) but it really does keep the game at the FPS you desire, which is perfect if like me, your game goes from anywhere from 1-75fps......

Its most likely one of the options in the sl.ini thats messsing up views.... check them carefully and make sure it suits your system.

Streamline is a brilliant tool that makes the difference between crashing/ultra slow loading to smooth playable gameplay
