dndmiles98
Ok, on my blacksmith (who is in his home), will not go outside to work at ALL. He stands there and does nothing. I have the navmash set up, and the door has a green triangle next to it but still nothing. I have no idea why this is happening. Any ideas anyone? Sounds more like a problem with the AI package rather than the navmesh. However.. is there also a green triangle on the outside door marker.. the one that your inside door ports to? That navmesh must be finalized as well with a green triangle under the yellow marker.

I'm testing it right now with one package that he works all hours of the day, Sandboxing in that one location where he works as a blacksmith but he never leaves the house. No idea why. What's the target and radius of the sandbox package (object/cell etc)?Is it a normal door? (not a "minuse" one or anything like that)Will a normal follower accompany you through the door? It's like the package itself will not function correctly and the radius is about 512. He literly will not move from the spot he sits in the house. You can go absolutely pretty much anywhere in Skyrim, however if there is no navmesh, an npc cannot walk there.. you should notice this if you ever go out into the forest parts.. if you go straight but your follower has to go around a cliff or a few trees.. that's because the navmesh between point a and point b is not connected. No navmesh = no npc travel.

SheWildWolf
Well I have navmash where he needs to go. Pretty much everywhere he needs to go. Still nothing happens tho. Well to eliminate the navmesh as being the problem, can you jump into Skyrim and try to get another follower to go with you in and out of the house? If they can travel with you in and out, then you know for certain it's not an issue with the navmesh and start looking into something else that could be causing the problem. It's best to test if a follower will accompany you through it - that's more like your NPC than the player is. I suspect it will work, but please confirm this, it's just a confirmation step but it's one that's always worth doing with these kind of issues. As for the AI. What is it's target, by which I mean what is specified as the "location" if you open the package? Also, just to confirm is it the only AI package assigned to this NPC?
