sicMisfit6
I can't figure out why my texture is pink. The UVMap loads properly, all of my texture files are set, but no matter what I do or what .dds I load my model annoyingly remains pink when in Draw Type: Textured. Oddly enough, Draw Type: Shaded shows the texture properly, so I know it's not that blender can't 'find' the file. I've crossreferenced the texture and materials settings to a model that is operational and they match perfectly but the model refuses to change from the color pink. RGMage2
Here is something you can try, I'm not promising it will work but it often does. - split your screen between 3D View and UV Image Editor. - in 3D view use edit mode and select all vertices. - in the UV window you will see the UV map, select all vertices and faces in the UV map. - in the UV window menu select Image and Reload, and if that doesn't work try Replace or Open. Doing this will usually make the texture visible in the 3D view. Also, saving your file and closing Blender and rebooting it and reloading the file will often solve the problem as well, assuming there is nothing wrong with the texture file. RUSE35
Im not super great with textures so I couldn't help you save for saying start over or something (which im sure you would like to avoid :P) Also how come your using 2.49? The version I currently use is 2.79 and I like the interface a heck of a lot more then 49b
madmongo
It looks like they are messing with one of the type3 body variants in Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas. The nif import/export tools for FO3/FNV for Blender 2.79 are buggy as all heck and will give you no end of problems. If you want things to actually work when you're done, you are much better off using Blender 2.49b for modding FO3 or FNV.
