facial textures

There must be someone who have encountered the same issue. The first time around modding new vegas I managed to get my characters too look rather astonishing unaffected by the light. I cant seem to be able to find anything that fixes this now though. And I've had it since my install was clean, so I'm pretty sure its not affected by any mods. However I do indeed run Nevada Skies. Tried to uninstall it though, doesn't help.

Can it possibly have something to do with graphic settings? In case, everything is maxed out. Tried to turn off bloom, hdr, etc /no difference.

please help.

I don't think there is much you can do other than set everything as high as possible and make sure the textures in chargen are as even as possible, the lighting is terrible in New Vegas, it's actually worse than FO3. Those pictures of flawless looking characters in the imageshare haven't been taken in random places, they're taken where the light is at it's best, sometimes soft focus is used and it's not unusual for people to post process them with imaging software, Photoshop, Painshop Pro, Gimp ect.

There are mods that have better quality face textures, Mojave Delight for example but the above still applies.

What you're saying makes sense. However I remember being able to look at my character in the dark without being totally derp about it. But thanks a lot anyways :)

I'll try Mojave Delight, and a whatever I can to make it slightly better instead of whining about it.

Thanks.
