[WIPz] Ghogiel's Gregole

Description

This mod will place new creatures in the game based on a new creature model by Ghogiel.

This is a modder's resource that also has a playable plugin so you can see what it looks like in-game yourself.

Status and WIP Details

The creature is rigged to the frost atronach skeleton but I'm not so sure I like it. I'll try some other skeletal structures and animations and see.

I plan to use custom sound FX but I have no idea what this creature "should" sound like. Will have to find some source material via research.

I have placed about 9 creatures in the game with various sizes ranging from a scale of 1.0 (player size) to 1.6 (I think) and the screenshots show the largest size I've tested so far. These will probably be set to respawn so you can have fun again at a later date.

Planned Stats:

- 15x the strength of a normal human

- Skin is resistant to conventional weapons, shock and radiation

- Average height is 235 cm / 93 in / 7.7 ft

- Average weight is 150 kg / 330 lbs

Research site: NeoGuyver.com

Background Historical Info

I have not watched any of the TV shows this is based on and very little information is available about it on the Internet. From what I have put together, this is a man that "transforms" into a super-creature with powerful melee abilities (about 15x that of a normal human). The only thing I know about this creature and how it will be implemented in this mod is that they will be melee fighters (no weapons, no magic) and when they die, they will vanish without a trace.

Might want to hit your video store... Ask for Guyver or Guyver 2, forgot which one had this guy. Pretty sure it was one of the bad guys in the first one... It's an American bastardization of a manga turned anime, but good for a bit of 90's nostoligia or some such... Might give you some sound ideas or how it could move too.

Vagrant0, thanks for the tip.

tyreil829, when I first saw this creature I thought of the old story / poem called Beowulf. And as such, I created these screenshots with that in mind. ;)

Well, my reply would look very odd when you change your nickname to something different next week...which could be Ronon, Ford, McKay, Tayla. ;)

Nah, we got our beasties all lined up.

Hmm...I might start calling you Sheppard but not if I see another misspelled "IHammonds" reference from you. LOL.

Each new episode brings new creatures. You won't be seeing more werewolves. ;)

I think if the Gregole use something like the Xivilai skeleton for the jaw motion, that would add a lot considering its jaw, teeth and face look very well done
It currently resides on the Frost Atronach skeleton but I don't like how he moves around and attacks. It just looks outta place. My first thought was to place him on the Xivilai skeleton and replace some of the animations to tailor it. I did the same thing for the Lost Paladin werewolves. Just depends on how the experiments turn out. ;) Who knows...maybe some will simply look-n-act different from others...like small ones on Xivilai skeleton and larger ones on the Atronach.
