this perhaps isn't the right place but its just a bit of feedback

99% of the downloads i get off the nexus either are cut in half or showing as nothing in them i have tried all sorts of browsers and sky, virgin and Ticscail broadband since i move to different places ( every 9 months) i am wondering if this has happened to anyone else and the nexus before

Note: if this is in the wrong place i ask you to move to the right place and accept my apologies

Which server are you using, I have had that problem with the london server at times.

Try a different server, I will have Dark0ne take a look.

When you get 0kb download files for old / ancient files, it might be a broken download that is no longer available. I recommend trying all the file mirrors to see if one works. If there is no way to download it, report the file so we can see if anyone has the archive for us to re-upload.

If the file is from a new upload, it might be because the upload is only placed on the primary server and only gets copied to the other mirror servers when the 1st person makes the request of that server. The files should get synchronized each night if there are no problems but if the 1st person starts the download and cancels it immediately while the file is being copied from server-to-server, it might not work at all for that server until the nightly sync.

Regarding files that download to a certain percentage and then stops, it might be one of many possible issues. The following list is what I have seen personally in the last couple of weeks:

  • Virus on the client PC that causes download interruptions. Solution: Update or replace virus software and scan to find and remove the virus.
  • DSL or Cable modem hardware problem. Solution: Have your ISP replace your modem.
  • File Mirror problem. Solution: Dark0ne forces a manual sync or replaces a problematic server with a new one.
