Invisible feet

So basically, i have mods im using and for some reason, no matter what i try, the feet textures are missing ingame. The actual mesh files and stuff show up in the folder and while using bodyslide, which i can actually see that they are existant, but while ingame, everyone which includes my character, npcs, etc. have no feet. anyone know why?

Just looked into the thread and did what you said, first, i dont use joy of perspective, second, i think something might be overiding the textures with nothing, third, i made sure to reinstall the mods, and ive messed with the order a bit and used loot, checked for issues, etc. tried multiple fixes and still cant find out whats wrong. ive even made sure to manually install all the armor mods and cbbe and body mods and stuff to make sure it wasnt the cause and still no feet can be found. The feet are missing from everyone except for custom models that wont use them so something about it generating the textures or loading them is messed up. btw, when i said I had tried everything, the only thing i haven't done is to try the load order in every different way because theres so many and last time I tried it broke my game. If you see anything else that may be causing the issue tell me, id muchly appreciate it.

I'm not super knowledgeable about skeleton body mods but did you run the "Generator tool" that comes with FNIS as it says in the directions here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11811?tab=posts

 

 

Note: You will have to run a generator tool GenerateFNISforUsers.exe (part of FNIS Behavior) every time you have installed or uninstalled FNIS, or an FNIS based mod. In addition, when you uninstall a mod that uses FNIS Creatures, you first have press the "De-Install Creatures" button, before you run the "Update FNIS Behaviors"

 

Also are they missing when they are barefoot?

Do you use LOOT or anything for your load order?

yes, i did use fnis correctly and have set that up, i have used loot for the order, the feet are missing with boots and stuff worn and while barefoot. at least for the armors i can see the feet, they are untextured sometimes rather than missing which is odd as the textures are there. and ive also run TES5 edit and checked all that too, as ive said ive done everything except for the order stuff so im assuming that is the issue

Ok so you can only see feet when they are wearing armor? And then the feet have no texture? Can you get a screenshot of this?

Are you by any chance using

High Poly Vanilla Armor and Clothes

or anything like it? They are only textures so it would not show up in your load order.

That's a lot of words to say that it's undoubtedly the high-poly mod causing the problem, not Flower Girls. I know that FG uses the default body, which in my case is a 3-container body because I made a mod to redress the Flower Girls in Ves Prostitute (Witcher 2) Outfits with Newmiller High Heels and Stockings and FavoredSoul's Ultimate Assortment Jewelry, and it works fine. Here's a pic of the Flower Girl in Markarth using that outfit.

I'm using Populated Cities Towns Villages and half the NPCs have missing feet due to the outfit/body mismatches. There is nothing but air between their knees and the tops of their boots, and many of them have no hair, either.

It sounds like you have something like that going on.

Either you have something like the above going on, your body mod is broken or perhaps some kind of weird load order thing. I'd start with the easiest things first.

 

1) Verify files thru STEAM (masters will have to be cleaned if you have cleaned them already) - try game

2) Uninstall any body mods you have. - try game

3) Install new body mod (CBBE, UNP or whatever) - try game

4) Uninstall body/skin textures - try game

5) Install new body/skin texture (make sure they include feet) - try game

 

And does the problem only happen on certain races? Both male and females? Keep a list of which ones ya delete and which new ones ya install.

ok, it took awhile to get back to you, but i will see if i can get a screenshot. it only affects females as im not using anything for male textures and im not using any armor mods, as far as i know, that are changing vanilla textures for armor. ill see if i can figure it out and get back to you.

Probably feet mesh file/ texture dds is missing. Install feet mesh nifs/texture dds.
