I share your annoyance, mattbison. Skyrim is long on eyecandy and rather short on substance, in my opinion, and so you must expect mod makers to take advantage of that. In addition, many players of the game are too young to know what naked women really look like or have any experience in actual fighting arts, so they let their imaginations run to comic book extremes. I'm trying hard to skirt the limits the moderators put on criticism, so let's just say that if you don't like the totally unrealistic anatomies and totally impractical armors, just ignore them. I do.

To both of the top comments, thats why we have tag filters on the website. Takes a similar amount of work starting a thread about it.

To Elfriend, you cant assume that. If you do the math, knowing that most people have sex by 16, and divided those two groups of who have and havent, people who have would be the majority playing Skyrim, Fallout, etc.

I learn and teach Mixed Martial Arts. Im not 18 yet, neither is my friend who is with me right now learning Kendo. So we both have a "fighting art" background, and guess what? We both like sex! But i think i can speak for people using the Sexy mods that they arent just loading up on those mods, they would mix them with other helpful bug fixers, retextures, and those weird car mods; and they probably arent using it for the purpose of porn! There is a reason its called "Eye Candy" :D

This is probably more information than you want to know about me, but I'm asexual. That means I've never felt sexual attraction to anyone, ever. And the first thing I usually grab is a "nude mod," not because I want to look at low-res simulated sex organs, but because the lack of nudity draws far more attention to genitalia than its presence. Every time I see a stripped corpse with painted-on underwear glued to it, all I can think of is Victorians running around gluing fig leaves to nude statuary. While I roll my eyes at "Animated Prostitution" and chainmail bikinis, I figure it's no harm, no foul for those whose hair gets blown back by seeing simulated material they could find in endless quantities for real at the click of a mouse anywhere on the Web.

Hehe...female, 51, sometime archer and sporting shot, I think that qualifies me as old enough to know what a naked adult female looks like by the simple expedient of looking in the mirror (well in my case, trying not to. LOL)and having some experience with "actual fighting arts." Being a strapping buxom redhead who could fire a bow (the bazookas never stopped me by the way) got me playing Maid Marian in the odd re-enactment when I was a lass (I live near Sherwood Forest). Heck, I like pretties in my game, and that includes both nicely put together naked boys and girls, and skimpy armour if I feel like it. If you don't like it, then no-one is forcing you to download it, as Dante said, use the tags.

Although "lore friendly" armour fans should be aware that the type of tin can armour they often refer to as lore friendly isn't (tiltyard only, useless in battle)and that some warriors, even in Northern climes, would fight naked or nearly naked. But guess what, I stay away from plate armor mods rather than whinge about them. If people want them in their game, then they should have them, just don't try to take the moral high ground and stereotype those who take a different view.

Well, for me, at least, it isn't prudishness. I'm just getten kinda bored with scrolling through "Sexy" armors which amount to regular sets with cutouts for teh boobies, and it kinda strikes me as Tacky. I mean, daedric pasties probably don't have That much armor value either, but when I wanna get all pretteh, I don't generally reach for Friedrics of Hollewood. Tastes differ, but I kind of find it hard to believe that not one single solitary modder, on Steam, nor Nexus has any whatsoever. I may be proven wrong, though.
