Tinien
Good day to everyone. I want to ask several questions about my Oblivion list of mods 1. Is it necessary to run archive invalidation if there are only unofficial patches and OOO in my modlist which (patches and OOO) add and/or change textures?2. Is Bashed Patch needed in this modlist and if yes how exactly should it be configured (which checkboxes need to be activated)?3. Which version of OOO, by your opinion, is the most stable and bug free? AFAIK, not always the newest version of mod (OOO, for example) = the best in all. Often it happens that the new mod version brings in new bugs which weren't present in previous versions of this mod. For now I suggest that the most optimal version of OOO is 1.5.5, because with this version I had the least bugs and CTDs. Below I attach my current modlist which I'm going to reassemble taking into account your answers on my questions above. Many thanks in advance. 00 Oblivion.esm 01 Open Cities Resources.esm [Version 4.1.7] 02 Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esm [Version 1.5.10] 03 Unofficial Oblivion Patch.esp [Version 3.5.6] 04 UOP Vampire Aging & Face Fix.esp [Version 1.0.0] 05 Oblivion Citadel Door Fix.esp 06 DLCShiveringIsles.esp 07 Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch.esp [Version 1.5.9] 08 FormID Finder4.esp 09 DLCHorseArmor.esp 0A DLCHorseArmor - Unofficial Patch.esp [Version 1.0.9] 0B DLCOrrery.esp 0C DLCOrrery - Unofficial Patch.esp [Version 1.0.7] 0D DLCVileLair.esp 0E DLCVileLair - Unofficial Patch.esp [Version 1.0.11] 0F DLCMehrunesRazor.esp 10 DLCMehrunesRazor - Unofficial Patch.esp [Version 1.0.7] 11 DLCSpellTomes.esp 12 DLCSpellTomes - Unofficial Patch.esp [Version 1.0.1] 13 DLCThievesDen.esp 14 DLCThievesDen - Unofficial Patch.esp [Version 1.0.15] 15 DLCThievesDen - Unofficial Patch - SSSB.esp [Version 1.0.14] 16 Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp [Version 1.5.10] 17 OOO-No_Guild_Ownership.esp [Version 1.33] 18 DLCBattlehornCastle.esp 19 DLCBattlehornCastle - Unofficial Patch.esp [Version 1.0.12] 1A DLCFrostcrag.esp 1B DLCFrostcrag - Unofficial Patch.esp [Version 1.0.10] 1C OCOD+FrostcragSpire Patch.esp 1D Knights.esp 1E Knights - Unofficial Patch.esp [Version 1.1.8] 1F OCC-KOTN-Patch.esp [Version 3.1] 20 Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul - Knights of Nine.esp 21 Open Cities New Sheoth.esp [Version 2.0.2] 22 Open Cities Classic.esp [Version 4.1.7] 23 Open Cities Outer Districts.esp [Version 4.1.7] 24 OCC-OOO-Patch.esp [Version 3.0] 25 Harvest [Flora].esp [Version 3.0.0] 26 Harvest [Flora] - Shivering Isles.esp [Version 3.0.0] 27 Harvest [Flora] - DLCVileLair.esp [Version 3.0.0] 28 Harvest [Flora] - DLCFrostcrag.esp [Version 3.0.0] 29 Toggleable Quantity Prompt.esp [Version 3.2.0] 2A OOOShiveringIsles.esp 2B OOOSIArcheryPatch.esp 2C Bashed Patch, 0.esp Edited December 15, 2018 by Tinien
Oblivionaddicted
1- Normally the authors mention it when you need an archive invalidation.2 - No, I don't use it and my game works well. Tinien
Thank you, dear sir, for your answers. If only someone would know an answer to my third (and probably the most important) question, I'd be most grateful. Among all 1.5* versions of OOO which one is the most stable and bug free? Or maybe it is one of versions of "second generation", which don't need OBSE and don't have OOO.ini yet - 1.40, 1.38, 1.36, 1.35a, 1.34b5, 1.33, 1.32, 1.31, 1.3 ?.. Or maybe this is OOO of "first generation" - 1.23, which was 20 times lesser in size? If only I (or someone else) would know...
