HCT 3dsmax workflow questions - adding new bones to skeleton. Need help

Hey everyone, I want to add a few bones to the Fo4 skeleton, I want to add some bones for (very)long hair and a few bones on the wrists for jewellery and accessories.

 

I've seen this mod -

The genius added 3 new bones to the skeleton, so it's definitely possible to add bones. (does anyone know how he did it?)

 

I have HCT and I've made custom hair bones for skyrim following YouTube tutorials before, but I've never seen a tutorial like that for Fo4.

- Can I use the same procedure to add bones in Fo4?

How should I setup the export options (in 3dsmax HCT) for Fo4, are they the same as for skyrim?

 

Can anyone help me out?
