divinityoriginalsin2definitiveedition Mods not showing in game mod menu -- pathing problem?

I downloaded a few mods from Nexus, made a mods folder, and placed the unzipped files here: C:\Users\user1\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\Mods. When I boot up the game, however, and go into the Mods menu to select a load order and active/deactive mods, nothing shows up -- as though I haven't installed anything. Anyone have ideas about this?

I don't know if you got your issue sorted or not but sometimes you have to load the game then exit and restart it for it to register the mods. It looks like you put them in the correct place [barring any mods that also have files that have to be installed elsewhere, consult mod descrips for that] so hopefully it worked out for you.

Same issue here, only seen it mentioned once here and seen no solution.

I had the same issue, and found a solution. I realise that i didn't have winrar on this PC. Some mod need to be extrat by winrar to be fonctional.
