Installing mods with Nexus Mod Manager

Hello there,

 

First of all, this is my first post so please notify me of any mistakes.

 

Secondly, my knowledge concerning mods is very bad, therefore I need your help.

 

I have downloaded some mods that seem cool/useful/interesting/etc. using NMM but now I need to install them.

This is where the problem lies, do I need to install them in a specific order? What should I do when I get the message that another mod already changed something (with overwriting and those things)?

Lastly, do you have any suggestions for mods that will make my game look better or just must-haves?
