Hauteclair
I've found the best glitch ever. So I had this legendary plasma rifle with the Deadeye effect - time slows down for five seconds every time I aim. Quite handy for someone like me who doesn't have the best aim. Not my best weapon, though. My best weapon is a Wounding radium rifle that can kill just about anything in a matter of seconds. Not quite as broken as the Wounding combat shotgun my first character had, but still totally devastating. Frankly, I only use my other weapons to conserve the .45 ammo. But I digress. So I'd been using the plasma rifle when I decided to hit a raider base - the one where they have a pet deathclaw they feed people to - and I switched to the radium rifle when I entered. And I have no idea how this happened, but I found that I still had Deadeye with it, like the effect had somehow been transferred between the two weapons. I thought this was awesome and made short work of the raiders and their lizard. After leaving, I found that the glitch was still in effect after the load screen. I tried using my plasma rifle again and found that doing so resolves the glitch. However, reloading my save restored it. I then decided to see if the same thing happened with my other weapons. This is when I discovered that I'd been wrong: It wasn't just the radium rifle - I actually had Deadeye with every single one of my guns. After some further experimentation I learned the following: -It applies to all firearms. New ones I find or buy, ones I drop or stash away, etc.-Legendary guns keep their original effect. That is to say I have Deadeye on top of them.-I don't need to keep the original plasma rifle for it to work.-Using melee weapons has no effect whatsoever.-Equipping any plasma weapon apparently removes the glitch. I can still pick them up and keep them in my inventory, though. Plasma infused legendaries apparently don't count and are safe to use. (I don't actually know what happens if I use a non-plasma Deadeye gun, have to remember to test that.)-It sticks with saves, so if I mess up and lose the glitch I can just reload.-Very rarely the Deadeye seems to lag severely and/or gain a lengthy cooldown. This may be related to the location I'm in: It seems to work extremely poorly in the Old Corner Bookshop and Old State House, but fixes itself when I leave. No idea why. So, yeah. Apparently now my character just has permanent Deadeye as a kind of super power, at the cost of never being able to use plasma weapons again. In a weird way, I actually kinda like having that weakness - like my Lone Survivor is some kind of bizarre gun-themed mythical creature.
AeonsLegend
My best weapon by extremely far is a disciples blade. Nothing beats melee in this game. Don't need legendary weapons. Deal 9K damage in one hit without needing crit. you wanna break the game even further go Instigating to double your damage, use calmex for another 2x damage on top of the 12x from perks and use a crit. I could oneshot the Prydwen with that s#*!. Edited December 18, 2018 by AeonsLegend
