munhebreaki
After a few days of effort, I learned how to create a NIF model with blender, but I couldn't figure out how to make it reflect like a mirror. I could't escape from the white-lighted mass. Is there any way to make my 3d model reflect like a chrome or a mirror?
madmongo
I'm definitely nowhere near a professional 3d modeler, but as far as I am aware, the only option you have with the FNV game engine is to play around with the alpha channel on the object's normal map in GIMP to make the object seem shiny. I'm not aware of any way to do proper environment mapping to make a more realistic mirror-like surface. Either the game engine doesn't support it or I just don't know how to do it. AusAllerWelt
Making a mesh look reflective is usually done with an environment map. You can either create one yourself or use some of the ones that are already included in the game. They are located in textures\effects. You just set them where you also set the other textures for a mesh in nifskope. With a quick google search I found this tutorial here https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Photoshop_environment_mapping. If game engine doesn't support it, maybe this is the best thing I can try.
