InfernalPory
After defeating the gulpers when defending the hull in the Far Harbor DLC quest Walk in the Park, the anglers who are supposed to spawn... don't. I've searched for hours looking for a fix, but nobody seems to have this issue, and any attempt at resetting the quest, uninstalling the DLC, reloading previous saves, or forcing the steps either doesn't help or breaks the Far Harbor town and its NPCs. I saw someone solve an issue with a quest by resetting it through multiple commands containing scripts. I don't know how scripts work or how to find them in folders or what have you, so if that's a solution I'd appreciate it a lot if someone told me how to sort it out. Novice in modding outside of mod managers, FO4Edit, and text files, so sorry if I don't make sense. Thanks in advance.
AeonsLegend
I think you can simply advance the quest through the console with setstage. See here for more info: https://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_console_commands https://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Walk_in_the_Park has the quest stages you can use although they may or may not work properly as advancing quests through the console doesn't always give the expected results depending on the quest. What you will need is the quest ID. Quest ID is DLC03MQ02 for this quest Firstly create a separate save before trying anything. There's multiple commands to use to advance, complate or reset a quest. I'd try CompleteAllObjectives first as it should complete the killing of the enemies in one swoop and automatically advance to the next stage: Like so: CompleteAllObjectives DLC03MQ02 If that doesn't work you can try to advance the quest to the next stage: First get the current quest stage. You can do this by typing: GetStage DLC03MQ02 If the Stage number is below 300 then use the following: So I'd try to use it like so: SetStage DLC03MQ02 300 Make sure you have a separate save before messing with the quest in this way. You can always use ResetQuest DLC03MQ02 to start it over, or completely complete it by using CompleteQuest DLC03MQ02. I've never tried the last one. The gate was locked, and all the people were acting like they did before, apart from Avery and Allen. I then tried to fast travel from and to Far Harbor in hopes to reset it, but nothing changed. Completequest would advance it too far, so I'd prefer to either reset the entire DLC or somehow fix the anglers not spawning if possible.
AeonsLegend
I made an edit. Try completeallobjectives command
InfernalPory
It sort of worked with setstage, but all the NPCs in the town kept their behaviour from the attack, crouch-walking around. It's possible to interact with them as usual, but it's still pretty weird. Completeallobjectives DLC03MQ02 didn't advance it and broke the quest, sadly. Is there a way to restart the entire DLC? InfernalPory
Finishing the quest solved the weird behaviour. I did the setstage DLC03MQ02 300 command and finished the quest from there, and everyone who crouch-walked returned to their normal behaviour. krystalklear21
This didn't work for me. But if anyone who came across this problem comes to this thread like I did, disable the Fallout 4 Unofficial patch and run the quest entering Far Harbor by boat. Apparently, the patch affects waves of enemies. https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/aaof33/far_harborwalk_in_the_park_bug/ Finishing the quest solved the weird behaviour.
