Timihendrix91
So in just over two months the next US Presidential Election will be here. If you plan on voting, who will it be for? I unfortunately will be just under the age limit (I turn 18 in january..), which is a big bummer for me. If I was old enough though, I would vote for Obama. I support his stand on energy, the economy, Iraq, and foreign policiy more than I do McCain's. I'm not 100% opposed to McCain, but I am weary of his war-mongering additude that he sometimes displays, such as when he stated that he would keep us in the middle east for a hundred years if he felt it needeed that. This is of course a topic for everyone, but if you don't live in the US, I'd appreciate it if you don't vote in the poll. Just so we all can see how the people herethat actually are able to participate in this election feel.
IndorilTheGreat
I've still got 2 years to go before I can vote. If I COULD vote, however, I would vote for Barack Obama as well. McCain said that if he get's elected, he will reinstate the Draft... I really hope McCain does not pick Tim Paleny (sp?) as VP Candidate. Then he would have almost all of Minnesota voting for him... Cheers,gman021
Michlo
I've not yet become a citizen, despite being here sixteen years (I will, don't worry, heh) but if I could it would be for Obama, of course. It is disgusting enough that we had eight years of Bush, we don't need more.
HouseAtlantic
It is disgusting enough that we had eight years of Bush, we don't need more. McCain lost his mind, so he has that on Bush, George never really had one of his own.Obama. I won't delve too deep into this discussion, though
dezdimona
Mc Cain, I want a man running our country that other crazed leaders will fear, Obama doesn't fill that role. I said my piece, for me end of discussion, have fun!
Timihendrix91
Mc Cain, I want a man running our country that other crazed leaders will fearI understand what you're saying, but frankly I think a person that is able to rally together people from all over the world is much more terrifying than someone who is just willing to use military force. Obviously people like Kim Jun Il (Sp?) aren't scared by military force, as he hasn't given much attention to Bush's threats.. I'm not a politician or anything obviously, but I think that if we just keep our cool when dealing with these countries that it will be fine. They want us to attack them. They know that we're hated by most of the world, and we won't get much help. They know that if they make the first move, other countries will swoop in with us and deal with them. Our own intelligence found out that Iran halted it's nuclear weapons development in 2003, and NK isn't strong enough to flat out attack us, or they would have already. They're baiting us so that we can attack them and so they can turn us into the "bad guy". If we do hold back though and they do attack us, we will have the support of nations from all around the world, as neither of those countries have many allies at all.
