umbypokochan
I'm awful at this. I've been dealing with crashes for a while but now I'm getting runtime errors most of the time when loading my saves from in the game, but not on the main menu. If someone could be so kind as to check out my load order and tell me any obvious mistakes it would be much appreciated. I installed everything with Wrye Bash. i eventually started using BOSS for load order but it confuses me. Here's my current load order: Oblivion.esmObscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esmUnofficial patchUOP vamp aging & face fixOblivion citadel door fixDLC Shivering IslesUnofficial Shivering Isles patchDLC horse armorDLC horse armor patchDLC orreyDLC orrey patchDLC vile lairDLC vile lair patchDLC mehrunes razorDLC mehrunes razor patchDLC spell tomesDLC spell tomes patch (unchecked because batched patch told me to)DLC thieves denDLC thieves den patchDLC thieves den patch - SSSBObscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.espWeapon Expansion Pack for Oblivion NthusiastDLC battlehorn castleDLC battlehorn castle patchDLC frostcragDLC frostcrag patchKnightsKnights patchObliviion XPbatched patchMaskar's Oblivion Overhaul.esp I'm also using Fast Exit and for some reason I have OBGE core but nothing else from OBGE. Should I remove that? Edited December 23, 2018 by umbypokochan
OblivionRora
Hello, About BOSS, it is very simple since most of its feature is automatic ^.^Just launch BOSS and a web page will open in your browser. There, you will see what BOSS has to say about your TES Oblivion mods : your mods can be recognized or not, properly installed or not. If there are any mistakes from your part, BOSS will let you know, and your mod order will change accordingly without you doing anything. If some of your mods are not recognized by BOSS, it will not change their order and just put them at the bottom of your list : you will have to do it yourself. The only thing I have to say about your mod order is about FrostCrag : you should move the DLC and its patch further up your list (at least before BattleHorn Castle), because it can happen sometimes that because of this order, the shop in the Imperial City (Mystic Emporium I believe) stays close and you will be unable to enter the shop without pick locking your way in... All your Overhaul mods should be at the bottom I believe, so I would move OOO (Obscuro Oblivion Overhaul) next to MOO (Maskar Oblivion Overhaul). Hope this help ^.^Merry Christmas <

Thanks and happy holidays! EDIT: After a little bit more research, I not only moved OOO.esp down to right above the bashed patch, but also WEPON. Then I redid the bashed patch without including MOO, then re-activated MOO. It works perfectly now! Oblivionaddicted
Use LOOT to sort your load order.
umbypokochan
Use LOOT to sort your load order. Would that do it different than BOSS? Because BOSS didn't seem to understand what order to put them in. Anyway, it's all fixed now.
OblivionRora
Glad you worked that out ^^ LOOT and BOSS are pretty much the same, except that LOOT offers more.I personally use BOSS for TES Oblivion and yes, it does some small mistakes here and there when it's about load order, but when you know a bit about it, you can rectify the few mistakes :) http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Load_order_recommendations : here is a link about the correct load order if you are interested ^.^
