TTobyProxy
This is my first time asking for help so bear with me. I've installed Fallout: New California along with some other mods that should be compatible, and it ran fine the first time. but the next day when i tried to start up the game it loads seemingly fine, hair and race patcher loads, i get a popup that says NVSE is working fine, and then i get to the main menu and... there's no UI. I can move the cursor around and all but cant do anything with it. the only thing i can think of is a load order error but i cant seem to find the root problem. if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. in the meantime ill continue trying to find the root problem Load order because someone will ask( 2 or 3 mods are from GUNetwork): FalloutNV.esmDeadMoney.esmHonestHearts.esmOldWorldBlues.esmLonesomeRoad.esmGunRunnersArsenal.esmClassicPack.esmMercenaryPack.esmTribalPack.esmCaravanPack.esmFOOK - New Vegas.esmFOOK - New Vegas DLCs.esmProject Nevada - Core.esmProject Nevada - Equipment.esmProject Nevada - Rebalance.espProject Nevada - Cyberware.espMikotoBeauty.esmProject Nevada - Extra Options.esmNVEC Complete + NVCE.esmClean-Deluxe FNV.esmYUP - Base Game + All DLC.esmNewCalifornia.esmLDFemalePowerArmorPack.esmLDFemalePowerArmorLR.esmHalo Weapons.espHalo Waypoint - Armor Permutations.espFOOK - New Vegas.espFOOK - New Vegas DLCs.espProject Nevada - Rebalance Complete.espProject Nevada - All DLC.espFOOK-PN Convergence.espWeaponModsExpanded.espWMX-EVE_NO_DLC.espWMX-POPMerged.espWMX-DLCMerged.espWMX-EVE_ALL_DLC.espMikotoBeauty.espHairPatcher.espMannequin Rce.eProject Nevada - Cyberware Additions.espReadius_NV.espThe Mod Configuration Menu.espThe Weapon Mod Menu.espgeonoxT3Armors.espClean-Deluxe FNV.espClean-Deluxe FNV Merge - All DLC.espClean-Deluxe FNV - OldWorldBlues.espClean-Deluxe FNV - LonesomeRoad.esp Update: it seems to be a problem with the base FalloutNV.esm trying a fresh install despite my efforts to avoid it Edited December 23, 2018 by TTobyProxy
dubiousintent
Four things: * Don't use both "WMX-EVE_NO_DLC.esp" AND "WMX-EVE_ALL_DLC.esp". Such "DLC" versions are "either/or". * I'm not familiar with the "Clean-Deluxe FNV" series of mods, but the name implies they are "cleaned" versions of the game files and that is not recommended for FNV: It breaks things. * You are missing several mods we consider "essential" to a stable game (most of which don't appear in the "load order", which is why we have the wiki "How to ask for help" article). First get your basic FNV game stable (checking against FNC's list of OPTIONAL recommended mods and Very few incompatibilities), then add in FNC. I recommend you read the entire "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article to understand the differences between this game and others you may have experience with; especially if this is your first attempt to mod FNV or it's been more than a year since you last did so. * Please see the wiki "HUD-UI-Menu issues" article regarding your UI issues. -Dubious-
JimboUK
Clean Deluxe gets rid of clutter, dust and a few other things, I've used it and I don't think that's the issue.
