Razor444
I scale Mods 2048x2048 -----> 1024x1024
gsmanners
I would suggest "Medium" textures and delete all your texture mods. That's the only way to be sure. As for resolution, I would suggest 1280x800 in Windowed mode. 2 GB is just not that much nowadays.
Razor444
I'm not saying the resolution of the monitor, but the textures to download.
bben46
The resolution of the monitor is important - if your monitor will not support the resolution you select - it just won't work right. My suggestion, set the game resolution to the native resolution for the monitor. That usually gives the best performance and could give a few more FPS and a few less crashes also. Using any other resolution means the graphics card must make a conversion - either up or down, and that takes away from other things it could be doing. To find the native resolution, Right click somewhere in the desktop (NOT on some item)You should get a pop up menu - one of the selections should be 'screen resolution' It will give a 'recommended' resolution. That will be the native resolution. Typical values are 1680x1050, 1440 x 900, 1280 x 800 OR, in the control panel > Display >Screen resolution will give the same info
Razor444
I play with 1440x900 (recommended) and my game no lag.Anyway It also happens with the vanilla textures, I removed all the Mods and I are still pink and black textures. gsmanners
Did you delete the "Data/Textures" folder? Merely unchecking a mod isn't enough.
