How to disable infinite mod notifications?

Ok so you know how when you load up a mod you'll get a notification in the top left corner letting you know that it loaded in? Well mine will continue to give me the same notifications endlessly and it is very annoying, distracting and intrusive. How can I disable those notifications without disabling vanilla notifications? If I can't then how do I disable them altogether?

You need to locate the script that is calling that particular notification and edit the script so that it either does not display at all or only displays the one time. Without seeing the script in question, I cannot give much more advice than that. However, it should be noted that not all such Notification statements will use a direct string statement, some will use a property and others may link to a translation file through the MCM menu system setup. Further still, some may use the Message system as there is a way to make it show as a notification rather than a message box.

 

If you know which mod is causing this endless notification, that may help someone help you narrow down the problem and possible solution. If instead it is every mod with a notification constantly repeating, you may have some other issue at work causing some event, that those notifications are triggered by, to keep repeating and thus re-trigger the notifications.

 

And if all that I've said is confusing, it may be best to post your issue on the comment pages of the affected mod(s). After all, authors know their mods best.
