StayFrosty05
Hello, does anyone know of any other Mods besides the 'Animated Prostitution' Mod that causes the anomaly of the Dovahkin standing up on the Horse when he draws his weapons?...I had the AP Mod and deleted it, cleared it completely out of my system, started a whole new game...had deleted all previous saves before beginning the new game...but my Dovahkin is still standing on the horse...is the AP the only mod known to cause the 'stand on horse' or are there other mods out there with the same issue? Huanes
I have the same problem. Maybe you could write down the list of your installed mods then i could compare it to my list.Oh and how do you know that AP is causing trouble? Edit: I tried to delete only the AP and it worked, sorry i cannot help Edited July 11, 2012 by Huanes
thompsonar
I thought it could happen with pretty much any mod that adds new animations or alters the character skeleton. I can't say for sure as I haven't installed any of those types of mods. There really should be a ton of threads about this all ready, have you searched for them? The only references I have been able to find are in regards to the AP.....but then again I am pretty well computer illiterate and may not be aware of all my search options. I have no mods that alter the skeleton in any way...and as for animations, nothing unique....Just Dance of Death I think and I don't think that actually alters animations. thompsonar
Have you tried it without the Dance of Death, because I thought I read that was one that caused this problem. I'd at least look at the mod page for it and read the comments to see what others are saying. Same goes for any other mods that are questionable. I have had mounted combat before with Dance of Death, so I know that one is or was in the clear.....The loss of mounted combat seemed to occur when I downloaded 'The Temptress Race' for my hubby....but I scrubbed my files clean of the Temptress files after I discovered the problem...but the problem is persisting....It makes me wonder if maybe it sparked a clash between mods somewhere that hadn't existed before, is that possible?...So maybe something that wasn't causing the problem now does? Yes, I have been searching my mods pages for comments about it, but have come up relatively empty handed....but will continue searching, including the Dance of Death....I am really appreciating your taking your time out to give me your input and advice thompsonar...Thank you. thompsonar
Have you started a new game since you've uninstalled the mods? I think some mods leave some remnants behind even when you uninstall them. Make sure there are no special uninstall instructions for the mods you're removing as well (if you haven't) because some will definitely screw up your saves if you don't follow certain steps. Other than that I'm not too sure what else to try. I haven't run in to the problem myself so I haven't really sought out too much info about it. I'd just keep checking your mods (it's got to be one of them) even if it means going through and deactivating and then testing one by one. I don't know how many mods you have hopefully not too many. I've had to do this one time and it was a pain (and I only have about 15 mods then) but I did find the problem eventually. Best of luck though. Yes, I had started a new game....deleted all saves, etc...It does look like I am going to have to go through every mod....I have 67 mods... :( ....I guess the best place to start is those most possible....I am very sure texture mods wouldn't do this, so that takes my list down to about half....Thank you again Thompsonar....much appreciated.
