Warring Paranoia
I am not sure if it goes in this forum though ... but it is kind of important to me so I might as well ask. I bought morrowind for the xbox a while back because I managed to get it for 15 bucks, and I figured it was worth trying. Well to make a short story even shorter ... hell I got addicted to it. Now I want the GOTY version. I have done a bit of research on it and all and I am very impressed. It obviously adds quite a bit ... but I am curious about something. It is suppost to have the whole old game back in it plus much much more added in now. I just want to clear something up. I havent even dented the many quests I can do in the old game. Even the main quest is beyond me right now. And I do want to play it as well. But from what I know there is even more of a main quest now with the other two gods and all. Does this affect the old main quest with vivec and everything ... or is it the kind of thing where I do the old quest and the new main quests at my own pace and order and all? Peregrine
They're entirely separate. Well, except for the assassins, but otherwise you won't even know you have the expansions unless you choose to play them. And buy the PC version.
Warring Paranoia
Cant do that, my xbox is the only thing that could actually play a game like that. And I actually do like useing a controler more than a keyboard and mouse. So basically I play the old game .... is the bloodmoon and tribunal set in a different land or just entirely different games that I select to play and transfer my character over to? saldrex
Bloodmoon and Tribunal add to the current game and give some new lands to explore. In bloodmoon there is an island that is added that i would say is about 1/16 the size or the lnad or the origional game. In tribunal you get to visit a new city that is on the main land and is larger than or the same size as vivec. Ohter than the new lands new people are added and new quests are added in the new regions and in areas from the new game. You can load your old game into one with the expantions or the GOTY edition (a pack with all 3 versions the origional and the expantions in one game) and continue with your old character and do the expantions. As for getting to the new lands you need to take aboat or swim to get to the new island that is in the expantion of bloodmoon and for the expantion of tribunal you need to talk to a person who will take you there. Warring Paranoia
So unless I talk to this guy or take this boat or swim ... the old game will not really be modified to much? Cool This would be a good investment considering the fact that I have many games I need to get rid of before their value drops further. How about artifacts and other really good stuff? Will there be a bunch of new powerful artifact armor and weapons I could find? Or atleast a few that are actually good?

saldrex
There are many really good artifacts in the normal game and i use tham alot, ut yes there are amny new artifacts in the new version that you can obtain. There are many new quests for items and artifacts that exist in all of the additions to the game. In bloodmoon you can become a werewolf and in tribunal there is a person who turns raw materials into weaons and aother who does it for armor. In the normal game there are many good artifacts Fists of rangalf (sp)the bear claw helmebony maildragonbone curaseltons word all of these items mentioned are powerfull pieces of armor that have 300+ armor and are in the normal game. mcstreet
cool...well as you may know i dont realy know much about the expansion packs but is there in any way an ability to forge your own weapons?
Warring Paranoia
Yeah I actually have everything you mentioned except the ebony mail. Thats why I want to know about the artifacts of the new expansions. I am getting the game tomorrow though, that is for sure. There is one thing I always wanted in this game though ... heavy armor pauldron artifacts .... there isnt any in the old game and I am not good at enchanting armor or weapons. Actually I cant enchant at all. That and some heavy armor artifact greaves would be nice. I have to use ebony greaves (because I cant get the daedric greaves yet), and daedric boots and ebony pauldrons because I am not a spell caster yet and therefor cannot take down the old wizard for them.
