simonp92
when ifirst learned of the silgrad tower mod i was really happy, then i read some comments on the file on nexus, and .. lets just say that i didt wanted to download it.. i think that maybe people forget that silgrad is still WIP, so not fishised yet..and must say: " eventhought the most of silgrad is just empiness, it really cool to explore a totally new world far away from cyrodill", silgard can surprise: yesterday i was exploring the countryside, and suddenly an guar attacked me,, that was kind a fun,, i also came across alot of spiders, and i found a "moldcave" i think its called.. now that was just a REALLY nice cave.. nothing like vannilla caves:D the downside of silgrad: i took me about tree hours of downloaded/unpacking before i was ready to play.. did you know: that some of the NPCs had voice acting?how can you guys judged a mod from others judgement??how many of you people have even tried it out??how come you dont like in the first place
MrCooper2006
Never even heard of it? Silgrad Tower? Sure its ok, but i tend to stay clear of WIP mods apart from obviously just a quick test. As they are usually buggy/uncompatible with things. Maybe its just there is many more "better" worldspace adding mods and ppl would prefer to have the best! Just a thought, like i said i have no idea what it is so i cant judge
Vagrant0
It's a large mod which went public too soon in its creation. When people download a mod, they expect it to be completed, not some partial world. It's not the fault of Silgrad, it's the fault of stupid people who download the mod expecting it to be done or a complete recreation of Morrowind. Most WIP mods suffer the same problem, and I imagine that when I open up my current project to the public there will be people complaining about how there should be more... And they don't realize that a large mod like this can take years to complete, so don't appreciate the amount of content which is available to them NOW. MrCooper2006
No problem I dont like ppl not responding to my posts so i try respond to others. Anyway i agree with Vagrant, just like the Valenwood mod, obviously will take forever maybe never will be finished. But can imagine the awesomeness of having another Cyrodiil to wander around in. hoots7
The Silgrad Tower is pretty cool. One of the early issues was that you would fall through the land at one point but that has been fixed (or you change the load order & its OK).You are right, the new buildings, towns, landscapes, people & creatures are very nice & worth exploring.Silgrad, http://oblivion.silgrad.com/index.php?opti...3&Itemid=29Middle Earth Project (MERP?)http://www.moddb.com/mods/middle-earth-rol...ads/merp-update & Dunehttp://bethblog.com/index.php/2008/03/12/n...-at-the-office/http://news.filefront.com/new-oblivion-tot...-bethesda-devs/ are the new land mods I'm looking forward to. MibuK
MERP is still alive (as far as I know), there's a topic on Bethsoft's forums that's still coming up sometimes...As for Silgrad Tower I never played it but am looking forward too it (altought I haven't played for months). I know it takes alot of time to do such a conversion (I'm doing a big dungeon mod too) and don't understand how people can complain about it as they already did lot of work on it.
