Dobbysl Posted July 12, 2012 Share Posted July 12, 2012 i installed the build your own home mod but it will not work for me.. i used the nexus mod manager to dl and activate it.. when i go into the game and go to the old shack it just shows a tree threw the roof and no sign off the work bench.. i am also just after updating my game to 1.6.89.0.6 as i taught this might be the problem. this is my first time trying to add a mod to my game. any one no how i could get it to work?? Move the Data folder you just extracted to your Skyrim Directoy3a. Skyrim Directory should be Steam/Steamapps/Common/Skyrim folder4. Say yes to Merge ALL Folders5. Launch the game through the default launcher6. Click the Data button7. In the menu that appears, make sure there is a check box next to the BuildableHome.esp by double clicking it.8. click OK9. DONE With NMM:1. Download with manager2. Activate the mod in NMM3.
