3aq Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 That nifty tool included within our SSE folder. I am in the process of cleaning/repacking a LE bsa. I understand how to extract with BAE, however I am unable to repack it with TESArchive. I thought I could figure it out, but no matter what I do, when it comes down to packing it would always include folders starting from my computer's user name How do I make it so that it does not include the base directory, lol.. ? Thank you.
Deleted3897072User Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Under the big window there is a field for RootDir with a [...] button to the right of it. Set that to your data folder (assuming that's where your files are).
3aq Posted December 31, 2018 Author Posted December 31, 2018 sadly, that's what I've been doing, unless I'm doing something wrong it doesn't seem to work.
Deleted3897072User Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 No, set it to the target data folder.
3aq Posted January 1, 2019 Author Posted January 1, 2019 (edited) still same result.. also I tried to save it as the same name as well, but strangely it would just open the folder instead. Edited January 1, 2019 by 3aq
3aq Posted January 1, 2019 Author Posted January 1, 2019 (edited) Alright I think I know what I did wrong.. I needed to save the bsa as the folder's name in directory where the folder's name isn't present.. Problem solved. Thanks OMB. Edited January 1, 2019 by 3aq
Soulbringer1 Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 I have a question for experienced user. Is it normal that the status bar does not fill up all the way but the archive finishes regardless? My File finished renaming but the blue bar is only a quarter of the way filled. I dont know if it Packed the files properly or not.
thumbincubation Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 If you haven't tried Cathedral Assets Optimizer yet, I find it to be nothing short of magic.
