emieri00
It's just strange. Things regrow in the wild, and in some cities too, but inside the Archmage's chamber and the dark brotherhood sanctuary, It's been forever since I basically looted everything in there [already finished both quests] but the plants never grew up again. I'm almost sure over an in-game month has passed already.
flobalob
Thats because you keep coming back. As far as I can tell, if you come back before the re-spawn timer runs out (30 days for interiors I think) then the timer resets itself. The same happens in exterior cells but the time is 10 days rather than 30. Back when Skyrim first came out and there were no house mods, apart from the original 5, I used the barrels scattered around Riverwood as permanent storage, until I was in a position to buy Breezehome (which was usually 10-15 character levels), I came back every day and none of the barrels lost their contents. xlcr
@emieri00, suggest considering installing one of these mods to change Skyrim's default respawn timers to shorter time periods: Shorter Cell Respawns by trira - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/7157 (shorten timers by 1/2 or 1/4).i don't know if this mod specifically changes the default respawn timer of the College of Winterhold Arch-Mage's quarters. SkyRim Respawn Timescale DeadBody Timers Vendor Respawn by Corepc - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3084 (various options).sorry i can't confirm if all features of this mod still work 100% with new patch v1.6 (i'm still using an older patch version). @flobalob, with patch v1.6 i think Bethesda claims they fixed respawn timers getting broken (completely stop) or reset if you prematurely revisit a location while respawn timers are already running, i have no idea if this is true. emieri00
That explains a lot of things, thank you all for that. This certainly is a dumb AND useful feature... It can be used to other's advantage, but also can mess with other's stuff. In the meantime, someone came around with an idea to partially fix my issue [aside from those two mods] but I'll check your suggestions to, XLCR.
