Image Rating Button

I had a feeling there was something I was missing when I was rating images :blush:

 

I have a slight problem, though - where, exactly, is the button to give an image your rating?

 

I was using Firefox yesterday, so I switched and am using Opera now, but I still don't see the button. Have I been a complete idiot, and missed something that's staring me straight in the face? :blush:

 

Sorry, LHammonds, for having to get you after me on my first day on the forum - I know it wasn't for something like bothering a fellow member, but drawing the attention of a moderator on your first day (let alone first month) on a forum usually isn't a good policy to start out with :no:

 

And thank you to whomever reported my screwup - I like my mistakes pointed out so I can correct them :smile:

 

I also thought I should mention that I'm not trying to be a smartass with the above sentences - much of what I write tends to be taken as such, and I often find myself apologizing as much, if not more, than posting ;D

No worries. You were not trying to do anything wrong and were not doing anything against the rules. We were just trying to help you do what you wanted to do (rate correctly)

 

You can see the rating link regardless if you are logged into the site or not (but you left a comment so I assume this is not a login issue).

 

You are obviously logged into the forums because you posted here.

 

That leaves me with a need to see a screenshot of what you are seeing on image pages.

 

I will take two screenshots of what I see when not logged in and when I am logged in and attach them here.

Thank you LHammonds - my problem is solved! :biggrin:

 

It turns out that I was looking for a button somewhere on each image's forum post, and not on the main page - I can see and click on the "Rate this file" button in both Opera and Firefox. Thanks for clearing that up :yes: . It was just a problem of me missing the obvious ;D

 

I only mentioned attracting a moderator's attention because I once asked a forum-related question at another place I used to be a member of, and that caused one of the moderators to develop what I can only assume was a total hatred of me. I have no idea why, but he eventually got me banned. I can see this forum is nothing like that one :)
