Kraeten Posted July 14, 2012 Share Posted July 14, 2012 (edited) To have a weapon already on the rack, just follow these steps. 1. Double click the rack's activator you're working with. (Depending on the rack, this will either be an orange rectangle or a white shape)2. In the window that pops up, go to Linked Reference. 3. Where it lists the trigger I assume you've already setup, you'll right click and select new. 3. Then you'll left click the Select Object In Render Window option in the window that pops up.4. You should have a crosshair instead of the regular mouse arrow. Now double click the weapon you want to appear on the rack. And that's it. There is no keyword required for this. Hackerpunk Posted July 15, 2012 Author Share Posted July 15, 2012 ok got that all working except when i test it out the player can not pick up the weapon from the rack. i have watched several vids on this and they dont mention this happening. any ideas? flobalob Posted July 15, 2012 Share Posted July 15, 2012 It's possible that you have the weapon rack behind a collision layer. Some of the wall sections have collision layers way in front of the actual surface.Press F4 in the render window to toggle collision visability.
