ItsVjustV
Hello, i´m going straight to the point. I uninstalled skyrim and destroyed all mods from my computer and all saves yesterday for a CLEAR reinstall. I use Vortex and so i reinstall from Nexus all necessary patches and Fixes, Basic mods needed. For the moment i have like 20 mods. Not much. Now, to THE PROBLEM -> New Game = Crash to Desktop after the loading Alduin picture.......... :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: I allready took stress pills..... Here are screencaptures of my load orders and mod. What did go wrong with load order because with experience i know that a CTD on a new Game or a save game load is bond to a load order problem. Thanks for the help :pinch:
AugustaCalidia
Did Vortex make the group assignments for your plugins, or did you?
ItsVjustV
Yes, Vortex did theGroup assignments. And I did sort manually the plugins since auto-sorting did not work as expected , the skyrim SE patch got in the middle of the list but as i read the patch needs to be on top of the load list or the game crashes.....well it crashed anyway... What do you mean by "did not work as expected?" What exactly happened? Did the game not launch? Did it launch, but there were, say, texture issues? What? I meant that usually the unofficial SSE Patch needs to be on top of the mod list to avoid crashes, but here, when I launched a new game = Crash to Desktop after the loading Alduin picture.......... A number of your mods require SKSE64. Did you install the latest update of SKSE64?

Yes i did install SKSE64 i took it from http://skse.silverlock.org/ -> Current SE build 2.0.12 (runtime 1.5.62) :ohmy:I tried to change the load orders of the plugins and the mods but for today i am done. I crashed at least 20 times.... :confused:I may try tomorrow to erase all mods and plugins BUT SKSE 64 and the USSE patch. Then, i´ll have to restart the game at each new installed mod to eventually find out which one blocked the loading.... OUCH :pinch: Thank you for the answer! You've come up with the best plan to address your problem, which sounds very much like a missing master. May I suggest the following as well. Turn on Vortex auto-sort and auto-deploy, if you have not already done so. Let Vortex do the sorting and set the load order - that's what it was designed to do. (And by "load order" I mean "plugin order." Mod conflicts, i.e., overlapping files, are an entirely different issue from load order.) When you run into a load order problem, address it immediately. If you let Vortex do the load order heavy lifting, then you'll discover that there are few, if any, load order issues that need to be addressed. You'll also discover that Vortex assigns most plugins to the "Default" group. That's because most plugins don't require any special handling. (You'd be surprised at how many plugins deemed late loaders by the mod authors don't really need to be loaded late at all.) I've used Vortex for the past eleven months to manage all the Fallout games and Skyrim SE. Out of the hundreds of mods I'm dealing with, I've had to make custom load order adjustments only about five times. The adjustments were extremely easy to make. No drag and drop - just assign the plugin to the appropriate group. Once you and Vortex have settled on a working load order, continue to sort only with Vortex, because it will respect the load order that you've established. If you use LOOT, it may override your hard won load order decisions. Good luck to you, and happy gaming!

Okay, so you say you install SKSE64 etc, but have you actually added it to Vortex Dashboard and set as primary run option? This could be the issue itself if not done these steps
