Alright so ive been playing oblivion for awhile now just fine and have had hundreds of mods for quite some time, i got the occasional CTD but could reload the game and pass that point.

 

I always had some lag but nothing too bad

 

then I Installed OOO and MMM plus the Unoffical patch (i thoguht i had it for the longest time but discovered i didnt) and streamline, hoping to fix some of the small CTD's i had >.>

 

and now im getting the problem where i cant seem to go a certain distance away from where the game loads or jsut certain areas. untill it CTD's

 

yes it doesnt seem to crash at all in nascosto Isles

 

i figured it was the mods i just downloaded but even when i turn them off and put my backup files over my data file i still get the same problem. i even started turning off a bunch of mods and nothing.

 

so i looked around about what the problem might be and came across plenty of threads saying my current computer hardware cant even run oblivion. which is odd since ive been running it fine for months with all those mods.

 

I was wondering if anyone had any other solutions to this or an explanation on how my computer used to run it with such bad stuff.

 

ive been planning on getting a better cpu and if its my hardware i can wait untill i do and jsut copy all my files over and paly it there, but if the problem lies somewhere else i still need to fix it

IM a modaholic>.< i cant stop myself from downloading>.<

 

also it crashes in the same places no matter what character i use. even if i start a new one. so idk if cell respawning will help

 

but its kinda good news to hear its probably the pc, yet ive always had the same amount of mods, i think around 250 was my limit, anymore than that and the game wouldn't start. so id have to turn some off to put the new ones on. and that list was just the ones i had on. i have almost the same amount of mods off>.<

 

it doesn't make sense to me that i was running that amount of mods before and now it cant. but yeah

 

is there an easy way to post my load order? so i dont have to read off my OBMM and type each one individually. i did that the other day and changed my laod order drastically and i dont wanna do that again>.<

the spots I know of that always crash no matter what are

chorrol by the big tree

anvil docks by the npcs who are sparring

an oblivion gate in the wilderness by the nascosto isles ship

pretty much any wilderness actually
