"And this is without taking into account how moody and sometimes outright crazy modders can be." I agree, A huge reason that I only have 143 post in 6 years with 80% of it being technical support. I think I'll just continue to lurk and endorse. So far this tactic has kept me safe, but it looks like my posting might become even less frequent now.
  2. Edit: This particular problem was solved quite a while ago. At some point the CK decided to erase my data despite me saving; forcing me to remake almost everything. I incorrectly remade it and missed one of the paths for the nakedbody armorparts. I felt compelled to edit this in case someone finds this old thread. Not sure if if this is the right forum section, but I ran into a problem in the Creation Kit when trying to make a personal standalone follower using Enhanced Character Edit. When I attempt to preview the model, export face gen, or view npc in a cell space the CK gives me the following two errors and a crash. I've already completed all the Class, combatstyle, Mesh/texture pathing, ect. Any idea what I can do to fix this? If it helps I'm using the Tri files that ECE gives to the Vanilla races (I think I am), and the follower is not a custom race (Nord). I'm currently following this guide. The follower can be viewed in game, it just has vanilla morphs, but has the correct hair and eyes and a grey face (I haven't been able to export face gen to fix it). I can upload the comparison image between the follower and the PC equivalent if you need me too.
  3. I'm experimenting with followers by turning them into Dragonborn with better AI. So far I have been quite successful except that the follower will only use one of the shouts that was given (with rare exceptions). The shouts that have been added are Marked for Death, Unrelenting Force, Frost Breath, and Fire Breath. The follower will only use Marked for Death, but if I remove that shout then the follower will only use Fire Breath. What I’m trying to ask is, is there a way to manipulate things like charge time, recharge time, Shout priority over melee, or voice points in a certain way to where the follower does not just use one type of shout? Right now I’m using Amanda.esp from Girls of skyrim as my test dummy. Edit: Never mind, apparently shouts have some inheritance in the way npcs use them. I was just play testing it wrongly and not using a diverse experiment.

  5. I would have no idea i had a similer problem with FCOM crashing in the oblivion caves but if you cant figure it out Id just skip that part by typing "movetoqt" in console then taking the sigil stone
