Leather armor replacer advice

I am using the mod BB T3 armor replacer and want to fix one thing I dislike about it. I prefer the full leather armor as normal, instead of the midriff armor that the mod seems to use as a replacer.

Both armors are in the mod, but I am not experienced and would just like advice on switching the replacer to the full set instead of the midriff set. I spent about 2 hours trying myself and couldn't figure it out.

Any advice on how I can swap them? I am an experienced modder, but not an experienced mod editor/author.

I plan to use this as a personal use mod, and not upload it. Mainly just want to try my hand at editing files myself and such.
Though the original author Exeter has the leather armors listed as free to use, and revang has it listed as free to edit if no response is given within 2 weeks. He has been offline since June of 2016, so I doubt that I will get any reply.

Since all you want to use is the full body leather armor, go to where you downloaded the mod and open it. Rename the full leather armor to something like blk_full_outfitf1.nif and copy it to the appropriate folder in the game. Delete one of the armors you don't want to use and rename the just copied full armor to the name of the armor you deleted. Do this for each of the armors you don't want to use. When you are done, you will have only the full armor available for use. Make sure you toggle archive invalidation the next time you start your mod manager.

Sorry for posting this late, but thank you for your help. I knew it was a simple work around, but I haven't messed with the inner workings of a mod in years. I thought I had posted a thank you the day I read it, but must have forgotten to.
