ManiumX
For the past few days I've been working on creating a landmass when I noticed that every land texture I had used had a dirty edit. I cleaned it, and naturally I had to retexture the entire thing from scratch. Which was fine except I started to notice dirty edits kept popping up regardless of anything I did. To make matters worse the last time I cleaned it, not only did the textures disappear but so did most of the land. This includes what I had though was a safe archive. Is there anyway to fix this? And how do you texture landscapes without creating dirty edits? I've been using Morrowind Enchanted editor btw.
ManiumX
P.S. My backup copy doesn't have any dirty references with regards to textures. However the moment I load it into the Construction set the single texture it contains pops dirty. Is there any explanation for this?
Oblivionaddicted
Do you have evil GMST's? It's very usual if your mod doesn't depend of Tribunal. You can fastly remove thsi problem through Morrowind enchanted editor.
ManiumX
It does depend on Tribunal. And I have been using Morrowind Enchanted Editor. Whenever I try to clean it, it removes all the textures from the landmass and in some cases the land disappears entirely. Not sure what a GMST is. Edit: If GMST refers to game settings then, no. No dirty references in those. Edited January 12, 2019 by ManiumX

GMST is about this and most people are using Wrye's GMST Vaccine (the last link at the bottom).
ManiumX
Got it, fortunately it already has Tribunal and Bloodmoon for Master files. I dunno, I took a peek at a couple other mods on the site with positive reviews and they have dirty landscape textures too, so I'm probably just going to let it go and carry on. Thanks though.
