Poacher886
Hi, Im used to updating SKSE64 every time Bethesda patch the game, but before Xmas the latest SKSE64 was released 2.0.12, and it does not launch?? I can launch the game without SKSE, so its not mod releated, and the game worked fine before using SKSE. I dont understand why they cant have an installer like they have for oldrim anyway!!. So i copied over the script files and added the other files to my launcher file, and when i try to load via SKSE the screen goes black as it does normally before the loading screen comes up, but then just goes back to my desktop?, i've tried re installing the files at least 20 times with no change of result!, this is now doing my head in as im lost to the problem. When i launch via normal launcher it says no SKSE scripts instaled or something? Any help or idea's Thanks
wfandrews
What do you mean by your "launcher file"? The files should go in the same folder that your SkyrimSE.exe and SkyrimSELauncher.exe are in. Just extract SKSE64_2_0_12 to your desktop and either copy or cut the files to the folder I said, over writing or merging when asked. you can then launch the game from skse64_loader.exe. I usually just create a shortcut to the skse loader and put it on my desktop and launch the game from that. However there are many ways to launch the game, just use the one you prefer. EgoAltar
Did you remove the previous SKSE .dll from your folder? skse64_1_5_53?Since those have different names, they would not be overwritten.
