jjb54
A friend was having " issues " with some mods for FO 3, CTD's - Stalls and such .... So I asked him to send me his ' recent list '. So, I found out that most of the mods he was using, IF he had read the Main Forums, he would have found out that there were indeed issues to be had: * Incomplete WIP.* Mod * NO LONGER SUPPORTED *.* Creator was M.I.A. for a " few years ".* Other players were finding bugs and such. So why this post? To encourage people to read the Mod Forum Pages, * BEFORE * you install a mod. Make sure it's still active and see what / if Bugs and such are encountered and if solved. You might have to go into " FORUM THREAD " and do a SEARCH in some cases. Those Mods that had a lot of activity over the years. In other words, do a bit of homework to avoid becoming frustrated. :)
GamerRick
Wised are thee. However, I would actually be surprised if even one person is saved from said frustrations by reading this post first.
jjb54
Wised are thee. However, I would actually be surprised if even one person is saved from said frustrations by reading this post first. Oh, I agree ... but one can always hope, right? If even 1 person reads this first ... and goes, " Oh, ya .. that makes sense! I should do this. " Then this post was worth it. It is amazing at times, how many people shoot themselves in the foot, by not doing even a bit of homework first.
