Hiskarian
Hello, I'm sorry if my English is not very good, today I vortexed when doing a deploy said "updating FNIS" and installed a mod called "FNIS Data" now every time it does a deploy it says updating FNIS, it deactivates and activates "FNIS Data" and it takes Quite a lot,I want to know what that file is exactly. If someone knows please answer Thank you in advance Update: Every time I do a deploy I have to re-pat the patches, change language and execute FNIS since it re-establishes the default settings It is truly annoying Edited January 12, 2019 by Hiskarian
CyrusFyre
Tic the blue box that says FNIS Integration so that it says "No" and that might help. If not then I have no idea.

VulcanTourist
As best I understand it from another thread I started about FNIS Data is that this is a "mod" created by Vortex activating FNIS after a deployment. This is triggered by that setting that CyrusFyre mentioned. Does Vortex itself play a part in its creation, or is it entirely a result of just using FNIS? I don't know the answer to that, but the last time I used FNIS two years ago such a mod was not created; perhaps it is a new feature from the last two years? I had a different issue with its creation, but if the issue for you is the time it demands after every deployment then it seems that deactivating that automation of FNIS would resolve your frustration. Remember that if you do this you will need to remember to manually run the FNIS executable when necessary to keep animation data updated for your mods. Failure to do that will create another frustration for you.
Hiskarian
I already deactivated FNIS integration, and the time was reduced enough what I would like to know is if I can delete "FNIS Data" without having repercussion in my Skyrim. VulcanTourist
I already deactivated FNIS integration, and the time was reduced enough what I would like to know is if I can delete "FNIS Data" without having repercussion in my Skyrim[?]I'm sure the answer is yes, since if you're not using the setting in Vortex then you must run the FNIS tool manually, and if that pseudo-mod is now part of FNIS itself then every time you run the tool it will be recreated as necessary for animations. rmm200
FNIS is an executable you run to generate animation files from animation mods.FNIS Data is a dummy mod that contains that generated data.If you use profiles, FNIS data has to be unique to the profile that generated it. That is why each profile using FNIS has a FNIS Data mod enabled. The older way of storing this data was to merge it back into the FNIS mod proper. That was a mess. ThePopulous
I can't believe Vortex does not monitor this forum... Data file does not get updated though setup correctly. FNIS can be launched within vortex, but there is no blue FNIS running...
